Enriath is the setting I plan to use for most (perhaps all) of my subsequent works. At the time of writing, I have nothing more than a name, a dream, and the most basic draft of a map possible.
I have plans for all sorts of things with the world, but after I finish a basic map I'm going to work on the magic system, then onto further details of the worldbuilding like gods and religion as a whole. In my opinion, those are the best places to start a world, as they're very much non-geographical. A lot of advice suggests not starting with a map, and while I understand and agree with it at least to an extent, I personally enjoy beginning a world by creating the initial map for it. I find a certain satisfaction in that creation, and it gives me somewhere to improve upon later, to expand and detail as I see fit.
At this stage, I won't make a fully-detailed map or label anything on there, but with what I have so far I at least have somewhere to start.
